A time of reflection over 2006...

2006 has been quite a busy year for me, although not as busy at 2005, cause i was not involved in so many things. Well, the year started off while i was still in my year 2 sem 2, and struggling with CMA! haha... cost and management accounting! difficult module... I remembered the times when i did projects with my year 2 classmates - soolan, jasmine, yeewei, weeteng, those times when we used to stay back in school tll quite late, latest i recalled was about 10.30pm... to chiong projects... memorable...

I remembered at the beginning of the year also when i was involved in the baoc'06 as an SCO, together with melissa and shaoping, the many fun times, and even bad times there was emotionally... however, i felt it ended off well, and i made a few friends, such as Rai, Mai, and strengthened my friendships with Joy and Ifah, while we painted the banner...

I also remembered the time where i chionged alot of driving lessons, and failed on my first attempt of my traffic police test... and how i hated to visit BBDC as it gave me the very sian feeling...The memorable time was when i passed my driving on the 25 May 2006.

I reember the time when i got invoved in planning the sat bs retreat with Cindy... there were good and bad times in this... of course, once again, emotional times... and times where i felt disappointment in certain things...and also discouragement...

In april, i started on my year 3 as a specialised student in Marketing, and my class got posted to singpost so that we can market their product - MyStamp. I also dunno how i got myself into another mess, i became the social rep committee which was supposed to plan things for the marketing students...

like i earlier said, May was the time i passed my driving, it was also the time whichi made the decision to join the Serve Cambodia team...

June was the time my family moved to our new home at happy ave, after about 16 years in tai hwan drive. Still feeling a little nostalgic of my previous home... many memories from there... lived there almost my whole life...

In spetember, i got involved with the IMF, as an usher at the esplanade, where they had the official reception tere at night. fun... End of sept till oct was when i went to Cambodia with my school, and there, we did some humanitarian work with some orphanages... it was memorable once again. learnt many things.

In November, it was when my parents celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in a restaurant, and invited their close friends...I also celebrated my birthday during this month. Another commitment i made was to the open house for the BA CARES... where i am supposed to set up a booth to promote both BA CARES, and entrepreneurship...

In December, the last month, had a few gatherings to celebrate Christmas, from my present class of TB12, year 2 class of TB06, sat BS gathering, Scanwell christmas party, Yearly relative christmas gathering...

Also made the decision to attend the Metamorphosis conference, and it was a bang! it was refreshing, fascinating... i was happy and did not regret signing up for it... I made another decision to go on a mission trip to KL during march/april 07... a step of faith...

And finally, during the last day of the year, had a potluck dinner in church, and and midnight service...

Overall, this whole year has been fruitful... Although there were some disappointments with certain people, i guess i have grown to be stronger... i guess thats good, although its difficult not to be emotional at times...

Even as i look forward to this new year, a time where i am gonna end my poly life, and start a new life in the army, i dunno whether to be happy or sad... really... i do hope and pray i will not suffer so much in the army...

And now, a song to end it all off...

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a right spirit within me.

Cast me not away from Thy presence, O Lord
and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me.
Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation,
and renew a right spirit within me.
