I feel so good, these few weeks has really reminded me of how blessed i am to be belonged in Ngee Ann Polytechnic's School of Business and Accountancy. I joined the bAoc this year as a student coordinator of "Passionate Spain", which is one of the 8 groups/countries there were. the SCOs for this group was Choon Tong and Anna, they were great people man... love them... there were a total of about 50 SCs in this group, and we were split up into different sections, such as banner, deco, IDs, performance, cheers... at first i was in the banner section, den i switched to the performance, it was cool working with Joy, Ifah, Fangzhi, Yanni and Liting... for our performance we decided to not just do a dance, but rather a skit, cause for the previous few years, all the groups did only dances...so we had 5 scenes, the candlelight dinner, artist, bullfighting, dance and the tomato festival...cool...

Anyway, for the last 2 weeks just b4 the orientation, came back to school almost everyday to prepare for the performance, paint the props needed, and all those stuff, mostly painting... haha, though tiring, all the hard work paid off...

18 May - The Embarkation
First day of orientation Ifah(the crazy girl) and i(the mad guy) together with Joy(the umm..ok girl) and Eugene(the great & fun guy), lead a group of freshies from TA04. Great class i must say... they were enthu man... so happy... all the decorations that were hung up on the wall were tore down and thrown away cause they were no longer needed, can u imagine? we spent about 1 month painting, making, building all the decorations, and tore it down in less than an hour after being only used for one day.haha, oh well... i think of all the countries, Spain's deco looked the best, really...

19 May - The Transit
Second day of orientation, was sports day, it was tiring, a little hiccups ere and there, but oh well, its not the speed of how fast u do it, but the quality and how united the class is, which really matters... Taught the performer that we picked the performance today... some were quite reluctant though...

20 May - The Destination
Third day of orientation, the last day, the day we will spend in the convention centre, cool and nice...syd came for a while, den left... sad... oh well... nvm... i doubt he will join bAoc again... haha... but to me, its really fun lah... haha... it might not be his kind of fun perhaps? okok, back to topic, performance day, the day where the performers will perform on stage, they did an excellent job, especially Christine, who was the MC/tour guide, did a little twist to our script to make it better... haha... as for the pageant, our guy got 2nd, and our girl was the Pageant Queen, it was the opposite for scotland, so it was like, scotland and spain switched partners for 1st and 2nd placing...Cheekian got hte Best Sc for our group. spain... and Yixuan got it for the US group... cool rite... and Guess who got the BEST group award for bAOC 2005? hahaha... yes, PASSIONATE SPAIN... haha... we were like so happy, Anna was crying, and Choontong was kinda too happy for words also i think... all the hard work pain off... but i was kinda suprised too, i thought scotland would have gotten first or second... but they got a consolation, i kept wondering and wondering on my way to dinner... but i would say its not how high u are, whether u are first, second or third or whether u get consolation prizes, but how united u guys are, and how much FUN u guys had during the orientation, so scotland did an extremely great job too... not forgetting the rest of the groups, like, US, France, Egypt, Japan, United Greece and New Zealand... everyone did a great job for this bAoc...

Went to Pizza hut for dinner with the SCs and some freshies, the freshies from my class went to have roti prata cheese... haha...okok, tts all school is starting next week, so fast man, the holidays... cannot believe it... it was like, a split second only... perhaps cause i spent it wisely that i had something on everyday...haha... from iDARE camp, to orienation camp, to the planning of the youth beach outing in church, to choir in church...yea... time well spent... and a memoriable experience of a holiday to me... the best so far... just wanna thank Ifah, Joy and Eugene, my fellow SBs, for all the joy, fun, and excitement u all gave to me during this whole time of orientation... it was really great...

ok, having a BS later... gotta go wash up now...haha... cya guys soon ya...
